PPC AdWords Monthly Budget of $55K or leverage Organic Search?


Would you spend $55K/month on Google AdWords --- PPC for 5 keywords to be on page 1; on top of the page where the sponsored ads are? If you are a $12 million international collections agency like www.GGRinc.com then you might consider it.

There are significant benefits to Google AdWords - Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertisement over traditional media. First, its measurable so that you can see a return on investment quickly. In the above example you will notice several key items. Cost of the PPC is directly from Google. What we have not included in this cost analysis is the PPC cost for Yahoo & Bing. When you add all 3 search engine Ads --- the monthly PPC budget would like have to be some where between $55K - $65K.

Also, note that PPC costs are risking every year -- year to year comparison 2008 to 2009 -- Google AdWords cost has jumped 37%. Why our SEO Competitors posting comments on my blog?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) space is extremely competitive. Why? Well mostly because there is money to be made in this industry, its an area which can be outsourced, so you have millions of Indian's (Asians) looking for work. Unlike other fields where you can measure performance fast --- these guys tend to milk the system and try everything before making the Customer frustrated with little or no results to show for the money spent.

Customer is always unhappy -- because the results are not measured and often the client is not sure what they are buying. If you don't understand what your are buying -- DON'T BUY SEO Services!!

The Clients end up not wanting to venture down the SEO space, which clearly is great for Google, Yahoo & Bing because they are selling Ads. More competition for the ads more expensive the keywords become and more money the search industry makes. Look the Yellow Pages are dead or soon to die...like AOL.com they will exist in some form but never be the power house they used to be.

Anyone with some business sense the business own can see that the long-term ROI on SEO done right vs. PPC is very significant. VERTX Sales Engine Optimization (SEO) we deliver our client to page 1 of Google, Yahoo and Bing, often they are paying as little as $0.01 or less per click ---

Pay for Performance --- potential client comments


How would you like to get a call from a client who say -- give me your service and then i will pay you if I see you perform. Sure we have a written guarantee which ensure the keywords we select together we can get them ranked on page 1 of Google, Yahoo & Bing within 3 to 6 months --- so at the minimum our clients will see 1/10 of all clicks from this page.

If for any reason we can not get the keywords ranked on page 1 of Google, Yahoo & Bing --- we will continue to work towards getting all of them ranked before we invoice the client again. This is pay for performance!!

This potential client wants us to work for basically FREE --- until we get them ranking. We do not know the financial standing of this client. We do not know them from some other joker --- and what's funny is we gave them an amazing deal --- 25 keywords (5 keywords ranked per USA City) for a flat rate.

In any case, when I got the email from them that they do not want to prepay for services, I was so mad with even the suggestion --- I decided its best I did not respond. Additionally, the classic part of this is this USA business hired a guy out of India who is supposed to be a partner (I guess) yet he has no clue about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing (SMM) --- these are specialized fields which required expertise, hands on experience and can not be done by one employee.

In any case, we do have a pay for performance deals --- as I have coined with several companies who are part of my inside alliance private network of partners --- here is a website: www.MyWholeSellers.com and www.AllFundingOptions.com where I have strategic partners. As with all such alliances, each partner takes on risks --- and the rewards are just as great. The terms of our arrangements are private for these ventures.

In any case, its unfortunate that the national client did not see the over all value, they will likely try several small firms and spend money in a variety of areas and see little or no results before my hunch is they will fold the operations. Maybe I am wrong and by me not responding they will come back to the table and play with players who can get them to the top.

In any case, that has been the story today. Other than that we had a great meeting with a major Houston Builder --- he is an EO member and we should be able to engage with them very soon.

Cowgirl SEO Services

Our sales rep looks at this Cowgirl presentation slide we are including for an event we are involved in with The Hub Market (www.TheHubMarket.com), we are partners with and she says its lame!!!

I agreed with her then I asked her what the men to women ratio is at the event we are hosting tomorrow is. She stated 75 men : 25 women. Then I asked her to tell me which of th
e other slides she saw was lame enough to remember?

She stated..."none" --- then I proceed to ask her if she thinks I should remove the slide, have her come up with something else to support this marketing of our services and if she wants to take a shot at it. She proceed to tell me that its lame but it will work, because its creative and communicates exactly what we do --- increase leads and sales from the web using Sales Engine Optimization (SEO) services for our clients.
