Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Onsite Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Onsite Optimization

Google Search: "Optimization in Houston"

What is Onsite Optimization?

This is a mission critical task which is directly in the Clients (or Website Designers) control. Every website should continuously conduct onsite Optimization. Let's explain this in the most simplistic terms possible: Machines do not Understand English Communications --- they do not understand feelings, thought, touch, smell and they can not see. While all of these senses help us (humans) to communicate and assimilate information --- Google, Yahoo & Bing -- which use computer servers to craw and look at the information we present in websites does not have such abilities.

I am sure while growing up you have heard the statement "don't spoon feed your kids or they will never learn" --- at least this was a phrase I heard while attending St. Mary's Catholic High School run by nuns before getting waked on the wrist with a ruler if I got the answer wrong ... LOL :)

In any case, we are in the age where if you want to be ranked on page 1 of Google, Yahoo & Bing (which makes up 92% of search Internet traffic) -- you will want to spoon feed the search engines.

How do you do this is the question? Its very simple, figure out the keywords which has the most significant amount of traffic (consumers searching for the terms) and then figure out the one(s) you will want to dominate. Its very important that you understand that you can not dominate all keywords, its not practical and really not possible. Focus, focus, focus your keywords and your site content around the topic which really communicate who, what, how and why you are on the web. Become the master communicator in the subject matter which you have selected your business area and then focus all of the Onsite Optimization (which means Website Communications) to deliver the message.

One of the most important things you need to do is make sure your Headers (H1 Tag) has the exact keyword(s) you are presenting in the website content. Additionally, you will want your Title Tags, Web Page File Name and Meta Tags all aligned with the same keyword(s).

All of this information together with ongoing content writing around this subject matter (keywords) helps Google, Yahoo & Bing understand that you are passionate about the topic and helps to present your content to people searching for exactly that.

Key points to remember while one is completing Onsite Optimization on their business website is do not try to over optimize on the keywords by over repeating the keyword too many times. It needs to be natural, communicative and informative. Also, I am only sharing with you a small amount of information regarding keyword optimization, there is a lot more optimization per page which needs to take effect before you can expect to have significant ranking improvement.

Additionally, do not expect to be on page 1 of Google, Yahoo and Bing with just Onsite Optimization, you must do Offsite Optimization as part of an ongoing process so that you are constantly seen as the leader in the topic your website is designed for.

Maybe I have confused you or helped you with some more details regarding this Onsite Optimization, give us a call or email us for more information.
